The position involves providing comprehensive People & Culture (P&C) administration, support and advice to the RES P&C team. Working closely with the Benefits & Administration Manager and P&C Partners, you will ensure a high-quality HR service is delivered to the business.
Organisational Context
- Work in the P&C team, reporting into the Benefits & Administration Manager.
- Handle sensitive and personal data β required to comply with DPA/GDPR and professional confidentiality.
- Efficiently manage correspondence and requests for information from employees and line managers.
Key Accountabilities
- Own the administrative actions for the onboarding process ensuring that all pre-employment checks have been accurately completed in a timely manner and before new employees start at RES, raising any issues to the P&C Partners.
- Action the leaver process confirming details to payroll, IT and finance.
- Maintain all employee's personal data accurately within the HR Information system (HRIS).
- Prepare monthly handover information for payroll to ensure all starters, leavers, changes and benefit selections are captured.
- Confirm successful probation periods and extensions liaising with the relevant P&C Partner for confirmation.
- Co-ordinate and respond to queries received in Service Now, assigning to the relevant team member where necessary.
- Action all change requests received from managers and P&C Partners ensuring that personal files are maintained on the HRIS.
- Administer HR-related documentation, such as family leave, references, special leave requests.
- Perform audits of the HRIS to check for missing information.
- Respond to statutory requests for information.
- Administer the benefits portal in respect of starters, leavers changes and log in issues.
- Manage the PACE rewards scheme, long service award process and voucher schemes.
- Manage PMI employee membership and liaise with broker on monthly reporting and issues.
- Manage Dental scheme employee membership.
- Work with the ServiceNow System Administrator to improve and make the P&C Service Now area more efficient for employees and for the P&C team.
- Co-ordinate approval processes for all benefits and salary sacrifice schemes.
- Support other members of the P&C team as and when required.
- Complete and update employee details and bank details in Business world.
- Support the P&C team as required with new HR initiatives and projects.
- Support the P&C team in developing and implementing changes to HR policies and procedures that arise either because of a change in legislation or a change in direction of the Company.
- Support the Payroll Manager with administrative tasks.
- Provide information to the Payroll Manager on request.
- Undertake project work that relates to the delivery of the Group HR Strategic Objectives and as defined in your Performance Development Review.
- Provide accurate reports when requested by other parts of the business.
- Assist with training of newer team members.
