Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Databricks Asset Bundles.
- Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security across environments.
- Collaborate with software and data engineering teams to support deployment and monitoring strategies.
- Implement observability solutions including logging, metrics, and tracing (eg, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Drive automation and DevOps best practices across the development lifecycle.
- Support cost optimization and performance tuning of cloud resources.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend improvements.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP beneficial).
Qualifications
- Strong grasp of infrastructure-as-code principles and tooling.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of networking, identity, and security in cloud environments.
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (eg, PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience with Git and version control best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- 3+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Experience managing production-grade cloud environments.
- Exposure to monitoring and alerting systems.
- Experience supporting data and software engineering teams.
- Experience working with data analytics platforms would be advantageous.
- Relevant cloud certifications (eg, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect).
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
