Due to continued growth within our Lift Department, we are looking for an experienced and dependable Lift Engineer to join our team.

This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial clients while offering excellent career stability and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on lift systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting company quality expectations, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, using strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and any recommendations for further work.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service when communicating with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in lift maintenance, repair, or installation.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Flexibility to participate in emergency call-out and out-of-hours work when required.
