Job Description Join a Growing Team with Long-Term Career OpportunitiesDue to continued growth within our Lift Department, we are looking for an experienced and dependable Lift Engineer to join our team. This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting a diverse portfolio of commercial clients while offering excellent career stability and development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine maintenance, inspections, testing, and repairs on lift systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, meeting company quality expectations, industry regulations, and safety requirements.Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, using strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company procedures.Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and any recommendations for further work.Provide a professional and courteous service when communicating with clients and colleagues.RequirementsNVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent qualification).Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in lift maintenance, repair, or installation.Full UK driving licence.Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Excellent communication and customer service skills.High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Flexibility to participate in emergency call-out and out-of-hours work when required.What We OfferCompetitive hourly rate.Paid travel time and overtime opportunities.Meal allowance for overnight stays.Enhanced company pension scheme.Access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP).29 days annual leave, including bank holidays.Childcare voucher scheme.Regular company social events.A supportive working environment with long-term career prospects.If you have the skills, experience, and commitment we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
