Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Fabric Cutter to join our busy production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately cutting a variety of fabrics according to customer orders and production specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and minimal material waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately cut fabrics to specified measurements and patterns.
- Read and follow cutting instructions, work orders and production specifications.
- Identify different fabric types and handle materials with care.
- Check fabric quality and ensure all pieces meet required standards.
- Minimise fabric waste while maintaining accuracy.
- Prepare and organise cut fabric for the next stage of production.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in fabric cutting, textiles or a similar production environment is desirable.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written instructions and measurements.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- A reliable, practical and hardworking approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
