About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Delivery Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of IT projects within our organization. The IT Delivery Manager will be responsible for ensuring that IT projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery: Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of SAAS IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs, define project requirements, and set clear expectations.
- Resource Allocation & Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, testers) to ensure the proper allocation of resources and skills for successful project execution.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the lifecycle of IT projects. Ensure effective communication regarding any risks or delays to stakeholders.
- Agile & Waterfall Methodologies: Apply and adapt Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and/or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to ensure project success and stakeholder satisfaction. Experience of Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Project Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, risks, resource needs, and financial performance. Develop and track KPIs to measure project success.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve delivery processes by identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies, introducing best practices, and ensuring the use of appropriate tools and technologies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet high-quality standards and compliance requirements. Collaborate with testing teams to ensure that all systems are thoroughly tested before implementation.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and support the project team, ensuring a high level of motivation, productivity, and professional development.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in IT project management or delivery management.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects from initiation to successful completion.
- Enterprise SAAS implementation.
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT systems, software development life cycle, and infrastructure management.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, software development tools, and IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Project Management Tools: Experience with project management tools like ADO, Jira, MS Project, Asana, or similar.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
