Network Operations Centre (NOC) Engineer – Fortinet/Fortigate Experience

Location: Bromley (Office-Based Role)

We are seeking a skilled Network Operations Centre Engineer with hands‑on experience working with Fortinet/Fortigate firewalls to join our growing team. This position is fully office‑based, so applicants must be located in or around the Bromley area or be able to commute reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and maintain network infrastructure within a busy NOC environment.
• Troubleshoot network incidents, escalating where necessary, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Work extensively with Fortinet/Fortigate technologies—handling configurations, updates, policy changes, and general firewall administration.
• Support wider operational teams with network‑related issues and provide clear technical guidance.
• Produce accurate documentation, incident reports, and change records.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a NOC, network engineering, or similar support environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Fortinet/Fortigate firewalls (configuration, troubleshooting, and best‑practice security principles).
• Familiarity with routing, switching, VPN technologies, and network monitoring tools.
• Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
• Strong communication and organisational capabilities.
