Business Analyst – Insurance / Claims – Outside IR35

Location: City of London | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document requirements across Claims and wider insurance functions.
• Produce high-quality process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Support end‑to‑end delivery of system and process change, working with technology teams, vendors, and SMEs.
• Contribute to testing activities including test planning, traceability, and UAT support.
• Facilitate workshops, articulate complex concepts clearly, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
• Support change impact assessment, readiness preparation, and go-live activities.
• Insurance industry experience with solid Claims knowledge (essential).
• Strong core BA skills: requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.
• Proven experience working within complex change programmes.

Preferred Experience

• London Market exposure (highly desirable).
• Experience working in a low-code / no-code technology environment.
