Network Engineer in Bromley

We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer with strong Fortinet/FortiGate expertise to join our team based in Bromley South. This is a fully on-site role requiring attendance in the office five days a week.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support Fortinet/FortiGate firewall solutions
• Day-to-day management of FortiGate devices using FortiGate CLI
• Troubleshoot network and security issues across LAN/WAN environments
• Implement and maintain firewall policies, VPNs, NAT, and routing
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and security
• Work closely with internal teams to support business-critical systems
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer in a production environment
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate firewalls
• Confident working with FortiGate CLI
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
• Experience with VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently

Preferred Skills

• Fortinet certifications
• Experience in a security-focused or enterprise environment
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools

Pay range and compensation package

Location Requirement: This role is office-based in Bromley South, requiring 5 days per week on-site. Remote or hybrid working is not available for this position.
