Network Engineer in Bromley

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our small, high-performing infrastructure team. This is an onsite, office-based position, responsible for maintaining and improving a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment. You’ll work closely with infrastructure and security colleagues, contributing to ongoing enhancements across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise network infrastructure across virtual, cloud, and WAN environments
• Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and general infrastructure improvements
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve escalations
• Deploy security and operational updates in line with business standards
• Work with vendors on technical escalations
• Strong hands‑on experience with Fortinet firewalls (must have)
• Solid VMware administration skills (must have)
• Cisco switching (CLI), TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, load balancing
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows environments
• Experience deploying security updates and monitoring network performance
• Exposure to Rubrik, Zerto, Rapid7, penetration‑test remediation, and certificate management
