RPG Analyst Programmer - Paladign in London

A financial services business in the City is looking for a hands-on RPG Developer with Paladign experience to enhance and support a business-critical wealth management platform.

The Paladign system underpins core operations here - financial reporting, order execution, portfolio management and client reporting - so real, current Paladign exposure is essential.

This is a five-day-a-week on-site role in the City. Please only apply if you can commit to that pattern.

What you'll be doing:

• Enhancing and maintaining the in-house Paladign system
\n
• Developing on IBM i (iSeries/System i/AS400) using RPG and CL
\n
• Building and supporting interfaces to reporting, execution and portfolio systems
\n
• Unit and integration testing, managing software releases, and maintaining documentation
\n
• Working with global development, QA and production support teams
\n

Essential:

\n
• Strong, current Paladign experience - ideally including the update module
\n
• All flavours of RPG (fixed and free format) plus CL on IBM i/AS400
\n
• XML, MQ Series, SFTP (or similar) and SQL
\n
• Solid Financial Services background - private banking/wealth management ideal
\n
• Able to work on site in the City 5 days per week
\n
