ReQuire are recruiting on behalf of a long-established British manufacturer investing heavily in its people, machinery and manufacturing capability. Working closely with the Head of Operations, you'll become the site's lead engineer, taking ownership of maintenance, engineering improvements, machinery reliability and future manufacturing projects. This is a genuine opportunity to move beyond day-to-day maintenance and play a key role in how the factory develops over the coming years.
What you'll be doing:
- Planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing equipment
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Improving machinery reliability and reducing downtime
- Supporting machinery upgrades and engineering projects
- Installing and commissioning new equipment
- Working alongside production to improve efficiency and output
- Managing preventative maintenance activities
- Supporting site engineering compliance and facilities

You’ll ideally have experience working within manufacturing or production and be confident fault-finding across mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with PLC-controlled machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics or continuous improvement would be highly beneficial.
