The Role

This is a fast paced, busy Accounts Assistant position, giving you the opportunity to become a key part of a busy finance department. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Managing supplier queries professionally and promptly
  • Preparing supplier payment runs
  • Raising and investigating invoice or pricing queries
  • Supporting month-end activities and wider finance tasks where required
  • Assisting with audit requests
  • Helping improve finance processes as the business continues its digital transformation

About You

We're far more interested in finding the right person than the perfect CV. You may already be working as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Purchase Ledger Clerk, Accounts Payable Assistant or Accounts Administrator. If you've gained solid experience within a busy finance team and enjoy working collaboratively, we'd love to hear from you.

To be successful, you'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within an accounts or finance environment
  • Experience processing invoices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good Microsoft Office and Excel skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to learn
  • A positive attitude and a genuine team-first mentality
  • A full UK driving licence
