Project Manager – £45,000 |Salisbury | Full Time | Permanent | Early Start, Early Finish Are you the person who brings everything together, keeps everyone on track and makes sure a project is delivered exactly as promised? We're working with an established and growing Salisbury business looking to appoint a Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and seeing projects through from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment, enjoys working with people and takes real pride in getting things right. You'll be joining a business that designs, manufactures and supplies quality products to customers across the UK. With a combination of in-house production, external suppliers and customer projects, there's plenty of variety and no two days will be quite the same. This isn't a role where you'll simply update spreadsheets and attend meetings. You'll be right at the heart of the operation, bringing together customers, suppliers, production and delivery teams to make sure everything happens when it should. What will you be doing? From the moment a customer order is confirmed, you'll take ownership of the project, making sure every stage is carefully planned, communicated and delivered. Your responsibilities will include: Managing multiple customer projects from initial handover through to final delivery and installation. Working closely with sales, production, purchasing and logistics teams to keep projects moving. Building strong relationships with customers, keeping them informed and managing expectations throughout. Coordinating suppliers, manufacturing schedules and delivery deadlines. Making sure specifications, drawings, quantities and project information are accurate. Identifying potential delays or challenges early and finding practical solutions. Monitoring project costs and helping ensure projects are delivered efficiently and commercially. Occasionally attending customer sites to oversee deliveries, installations and final sign-off. Looking for opportunities to improve how projects are planned, managed and delivered. What experience and skills are we looking for? We're keen to hear from experienced Project Managers, but we're also open to speaking with capable Project Coordinators who are ready to take on more responsibility. Experience within manufacturing, furniture, interiors, fit-out, construction, engineering or other project-led environments would be particularly interesting. We're looking for someone who has the right approach. * Highly organised, with the ability to juggle several projects and priorities. * A confident communicator who enjoys dealing with customers and colleagues. * Proactive, practical and comfortable making decisions. * Someone who spots potential problems before they become bigger issues. * Commercially aware, with a good understanding of costs, deadlines and quality. * Comfortable working in a busy environment where plans can change. * Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do. You don't necessarily need a formal Project Management qualification. We're far more interested in your experience, attitude and ability to get things done. What's on offer? * £45,000 salary * Profit share scheme * Early start and early finish working pattern * Even earlier finish on Fridays * 31 days' holiday increasing with service * Salary reviews twice yearly * In-house training, coaching and support * On-site parking This is a full-time, site-based position in Salisbury, offering the opportunity to work closely with the people responsible for delivering projects and making things happen. Why consider this opportunity? If you're someone who enjoys variety, likes being involved in the bigger picture and wants to see the results of your hard work, this could be a really good move. You'll have genuine ownership of your projects, plenty of interaction across the business and the satisfaction of seeing products and projects come together from the initial order through to the finished result. It's a role for someone who likes being busy, enjoys responsibility and wants to make a difference. Interested?
