ReQuire Consultancy is partnering with a growing and highly respected private investment management firm to recruit a Junior Investment Manager for their SW15 based office. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded investment professional looking to build a long-term career within discretionary wealth management. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and high-performing investment team, gaining exposure across portfolio management, trading, investment research, and client relationships. The Opportunity
Working closely with senior investment professionals, you will support the discretionary investment management function while developing your expertise across markets, portfolio construction, trading activity, and investment strategy. You will gain hands-on exposure to:
- Portfolio management and discretionary investment processes
- Market and macroeconomic research
- Trading support and execution monitoring
- Client portfolio reviews and investment reporting
- Investment committee preparation and analysis
- Adviser and client relationship management
- Investment communications and commentary
As your experience develops, you will increasingly contribute to client meetings, investment discussions, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Investment & Trading Support
- Support the investment team with portfolio management and trading activity
- Monitor market developments, economic data, and investment trends
- Assist with trade implementation, execution monitoring, and portfolio adjustments
- Conduct investment research and analysis across equities, funds, and alternative assets
Client & Adviser Support
- Assist in preparing investment proposals and portfolio reviews
- Develop strong relationships with advisers and clients
- Gradually build confidence in presenting investment views internally and externally
Research & Strategy
- Monitor macroeconomic and market developments
- Participate in investment strategy discussions
- Contribute ideas and insights to the wider investment team
Compliance & Professional Standards
- Ensure adherence to FCA and internal compliance standards
- Work towards further professional qualifications and long-term Chartered status
What We’re Looking For
- CISI Level 4 qualified (mandatory)
- Strong interest in investment markets and portfolio management
