An established international engineering and manufacturing business is expanding its commercial team and is now seeking a Client Account Manager to support and develop its global operation. This is a career-building opportunity for someone who wants to potentially progress into international sales and account management within a technically driven environment.
You will sit at the heart of the sales operation, supporting customers, distributors and internal production teams while developing the technical and commercial skills needed to move into a client-facing sales role.
The RoleWorking closely with senior sales and operations teams, you will support the full commercial process across multiple international territories including Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Africa, South America and India.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing customer orders and managing sales administration from enquiry through to delivery
- Producing detailed quotations for both standard and engineered products
- Supporting the sales pipeline and tracking opportunities
- Liaising with overseas distributors and key customers
- Coordinating with production, logistics and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Providing product and technical support to customers
- Maintaining accurate data within the company’s ERP and CRM systems
- Assisting with exhibitions, trade shows and international sales activity
As your experience grows, this role will develop into regular international travel and direct customer management.

Experience in a customer-facing sales or coordination role
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confidence dealing with clients by phone, email and eventually face-to-face
- An interest in engineering, machinery or technical products
- High attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience with ERP systems such as Navision, Sage or similar (advantageous)
- A desire to progress into international sales or account management
