After eight months of exploding growth, with 250,000 members across 180 countries, we’re looking for a developer evangelist to lead the growing community of developers for the GoodDollar protocol by engaging with GoodDollar community members through content and conversations. As a Developer Evangelist, you will help us fulfil our mission by fostering a community of developers inspired by GoodDollar and will drive our strategy around developer love and GoodDollar participation in the open-source ecosystem. You’ll be connecting with other developers, contributing to open source, and sharing your knowledge and experience about GoodDollar and other leading technologies in contributed articles, and on blogs, podcasts, and social media. We are looking for someone who is not afraid to be hands-on; you might write sample code, author client libraries, provide insights to journalists, and more that we couldn’t even imagine yet.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the conversation around the latest technology advancements and best practices in the developer community.
- Create engaging content, including technical documentation, talks, blog posts, demos, and videos, that educates developers on important technologies and trends.
- Support GoodDollar product and engineering efforts by sharing what you learn while engaging with the wider GoodDollar community and the tech community at large.
Requirements:
- Deep technical understanding of the blockchain world.
- Experience building software and contributing to open source in the cloud computing ecosystem.
- At least 1 year of experience writing technical content, developing demos, and workshops.
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to lead a process from idea to execution.
- Ability to work in a transparent and collaborative process.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications.
