This role will be responsible for creating compelling long-form content that educates, informs and inspires our audiences across private markets, startup fundraising, investment trends, founder stories, sector insights and the future of ownership. You’ll turn complex topics into accessible, credible content that builds trust with investors, supports founders through their fundraising journey and strengthens Republic Europe’s position as a leading private markets platform.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and own a long-form content strategy for Republic Europe’s founder and investor communities.
- Create high-quality written content including blogs, guides, reports, founder stories, investor education pieces, whitepapers, newsletters, case studies and thought leadership articles.
- Explore and build strategies for additional long form content such as Substack, Podcasts and Youtube.
- Translate complex topics, including private markets, crowdfunding, secondaries, regulation, startups, venture capital and alternative assets into clear, engaging content.
- Work closely with marketing, investment, sales, legal/compliance and leadership teams to identify content opportunities and shape editorial priorities.
- Interview founders, investors, internal experts and ecosystem partners to source insights and create original content.
- Build content that supports the full funnel; from awareness and education to lead generation, nurture, conversion and retention.
- Ensure all content is aligned with Republic Europe’s brand voice, audience needs and regulatory requirements.
- Use data and performance insights to optimise content topics, formats, distribution and engagement.
- Repurpose long-form content into supporting assets for email, social, webinars, events, sales enablement and campaigns.
- Stay close to trends in private markets, startup funding, investor behaviour, fintech, community fundraising and sector-specific investment themes.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in long-form content, editorial, journalism, content strategy, or thought leadership.
- Strong understanding of, or interest in, startups, investing, fintech, private markets, venture capital, or financial services.
- Excellent writing, editing, research and storytelling skills.
- Ability to make technical or regulated topics feel clear, human and engaging.
- Strong editorial judgement; able to identify the angle, audience hook and commercial purpose behind each piece.
- Experience creating content for B2B, investor, founder, fintech, SaaS, or finance audiences.
- Comfortable interviewing senior stakeholders, founders, investors and subject-matter experts.
- Ability to balance creativity with accuracy, compliance and brand consistency.
- Highly organised, able to manage an editorial calendar and multiple content projects at once.
- Commercial mindset, with an understanding of how content supports acquisition, engagement and brand authority.
Nice to have
- Experience in venture capital, startup ecosystems, crowdfunding, investment platforms or financial media.
- Knowledge of SEO and content performance analytics.
- Experience writing reports, guides, investment explainers or founder case studies.
- Familiarity with email newsletters, webinar content and campaign-led content planning.
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment.
