Role Purpose / Overview
Republic Europe are seeking a Head of Marketing to lead our European ecosystem, driving growth across all sides of our marketplace. You will be responsible for the strategic acquisition of Asset Issuers (Supply) and Investors (Demand), crafting a cohesive brand narrative that resonates with SMBs, retail consumers and professional institutions alike as we scale across international markets.
Location: UK – Must be London based.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Integration: Partner with the executive team to deliver an ambitious growth agenda, providing regular updates to the Board on marketing performance and investor sentiment.
- Business Growth: Lead and manage a small marketing team, creating a culture of accountability tied to data, tangible KPIs and commercial results.
- Resource Prioritisation: Dynamically allocate team resources and budget based on real‑time data and shifting market inputs. Define and execute an acquisition strategy to drive user growth, with knowledge covering performance marketing, brand, creative, campaign and automation. Own the full marketing funnel from awareness through to funded and active investors, optimising conversion rates, retention and LTV.
- Lead performance marketing initiatives: across paid media, programmatic, SEM and strategic partnerships, with clear accountability for CAC, LTV, funnel performance and return on spend. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Google and Meta marketing platforms.
- Marketplace Positioning: Own the brand vision, finding the delicate balance between the core platform brand and the high‑profile ventures (e.g., Revolut) raising on the platform.
- Strategic Funnel Management: Set the overarching investor marketing strategy to drive increased liquidity across the platform.
- Consistency of Voice: Ensure a premium, consistent brand voice across paid, owned and earned media.
- Trading Lifecycle: Oversee product marketing to drive adoption of additional products, including the Secondary Market and Auto‑Invest.
- Lifecycle Marketing: Develop and execute a sophisticated lifecycle strategy that nurtures new users and minimises churn among active users.
- Channel Innovation: Forensically manage acquisition channels while testing and scaling new media formats and international marketing opportunities.
- Budget Ownership: Define and manage a substantial marketing budget, ensuring every pound delivers a measurable return on investment.
- Data‑Driven Insights: Build an actionable analytics programme to improve decision‑making and create transparency for all investor marketing activities.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all communications are "Fair, Clear and Not Misleading" in accordance with relevant financial laws and regulations.
Essential – Skills & Experience
- Experience: 10+ years in consumer or institutional marketing, with a proven track record of scaling a world‑class marketing organisation within Financial Services, Fintech, or Trading Platforms.
- Full‑Funnel Expertise: Deep understanding of the relationship between acquisition, retention and engagement in driving revenue growth.
- Strategic & Hands‑on: Ability to set a 30,000‑foot vision while being "in the weeds" enough to build processes and drive digital execution.
- Financial Literacy: A strong command of numbers and the ability to simplify complex financial narratives (e.g., equity, liquidity and secondary trading).
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to hire, energise and retain top‑tier marketing talent in a rapid‑growth environment.
- Communications: Excellent written and verbal skills; able to influence at Board and Executive level.
Desirable
- Marketplace Experience: Prior leadership in a marketplace model (managing both supply and demand sides).
- SMB/B2B Knowledge: Experience marketing to both retail consumers and business/professional investor audiences.
- International: Experience scaling marketing efforts across multiple geographies and market clusters.

- Professional qualifications or certifications in financial services, digital marketing, or analytics (e.g., CIM, CFA, CAIA, or equivalent relevant credentials).
- Formal training in data analytics, growth marketing or product marketing frameworks.
- Regulatory & Industry Knowledge. Strong working knowledge of UK financial promotions rules and marketing communications standards requiring content to be "Fair, Clear and Not Misleading" under the rules of Financial Conduct Authority.
