The role

We’re looking for an Investment Associate (Deal Ops) to join our London-based investment team and help launch successful fundraising campaigns for Europe’s leading startups.

The ideal candidate has a passion for startups and early-stage investments, excellent project-management skills, the ability to build trusting client relationships, and a drive to succeed. The Investment team delivers a world-class customer experience to ensure customer success. You will manage your own pipeline of seed and scale-up businesses aiming to raise funds on the Republic Europe platform. Through training, you’ll apply your project-management, marketing and interpersonal skills to guide clients through the fundraising process and advise on best practices to achieve their goals.

As the client-facing arm of Republic Europe, you will use commercial acumen and attention to detail to present high-quality investment opportunities to the investor base. You’ll collaborate with our Legal & Investment and Compliance teams to perform due diligence on clients throughout the fundraising process.

This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently graduated or is early in their career to move into early-stage investing and contribute to Europe’s leading startups.

What you\’ll do

• Manage your own pipeline of campaigns throughout the fundraising process on Republic Europe
• Work with entrepreneurs to prepare crowdfunding pitches and related materials to launch fundraising campaigns
• Advise entrepreneurs on planning marketing strategies to maximize campaign success while it is live on the platform
• Guide startups through the Republic Europe due diligence and deal-execution processes, including preparation and execution of legal documents
• Collaborate with the Investment Team to improve processes and products that support entrepreneurs during fundraising

Who we’re looking for

• 1–2 years of work experience
• Passion for entrepreneurship and innovation with genuine empathy for entrepreneurs
• Strong account management and customer success skills; excellent interpersonal skills and a professional video-call presence
• Experience in a client-facing role
• High attention to detail and thorough in approach
• Fluent in English with excellent writing skills
• Willingness to work flexibly in a fast-growing company
• Legally authorized to work in the UK
