The Role: The Construction Engineer ensures the safe, efficient execution of onshore and offshore projects by developing construction plans, managing work packs, and providing technical leadership.

  • Oversee safe execution of onshore/offshore construction activities in line with HSE policies.
  • Develop and integrate construction plans into site schedules.
  • Prepare, review, and manage detailed construction work packs.
  • Lead offshore construction supervisors and provide technical guidance.
  • Execute pre-commissioning/testing activities such as flushing, cleaning, and E&I tests.
  • Drive digitization efforts with electronic work packs and progress reporting.
  • Ensure quality through audits, inspections, and compliance with standards.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/C&G in construction or technical discipline required.
  • Extensive construction and project delivery experience in oil & gas.
  • Strong understanding of HSE, technical execution, and UK regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in QA/QC processes and client-contractor relationship management.
  • Offshore travel may be required.
