Your Responsibilities

As BDR Lead, you will orchestrate the strategic scaling of our global sales engine, transforming market opportunities into a consistent flow of exceptional pipeline. Your leadership will span both visionary strategy and hands-on execution, positioning you as the architect of our outbound success.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Build and Lead a World-Class Team: Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing global BDR organization, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous growth through regular coaching, training, and performance feedback.
  • Design the Revenue Engine: Architect and implement a sophisticated MQL-to-SQL-to-opportunity process, leveraging cutting-edge AI-driven tools and technology in close partnership with the Revenue Operations team to maximize efficiency and conversion.
  • Champion Pipeline Excellence: Drive aggressive outbound prospecting and pipeline generation through both strategic oversight and personal contribution, ensuring a steady cadence of high-quality opportunities that fuel sustainable revenue growth.
  • Bridge Marketing and Sales: Serve as the critical connector between marketing and sales functions, owning full responsibility for lead qualification, conversion optimization, and seamless handoffs across both inbound and outbound channels.
  • Establish Best Practices and Standards: Define and implement best-in-class outreach processes, templates, and methodologies for both the BDR and Sales teams, ensuring consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across all prospecting activities.
  • Optimize Sales Handover and CRM Integrity: Ensure flawless transitions from BDR to Sales, maintaining exceptional CRM accuracy and pipeline hygiene while continuously refining outreach effectiveness through data-driven insights.
  • Drive Strategic Insights and Accountability: Establish and monitor comprehensive KPIs and metrics that track BDR productivity, conversion rates, and pipeline quality, delivering regular strategic reporting to senior leadership while leveraging market intelligence and competitive insights to inform outreach strategies.
  • Evolve the Go-to-Market Technology Stack: Collaborate with Revenue Operations to evaluate, implement, and optimize next-generation AI-powered sales technology, ensuring your team operates with the most advanced tools available.

Qualifications

You Offer

  • Builder mindset with proven ability to scale teams and processes from the ground up.
  • Capabilities to function as a manager-seller in a hands-on capacity, balancing leadership and individual contribution.
  • GTM-engineering skills with detailed understanding of AI tools and their application in sales processes.
  • Strong written outreach capabilities (email and LinkedIn) combined with confident verbal communication skills for calls and discovery conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand client use cases and pain points through structured discovery and consultative selling approaches.
  • Hands-on experience using and/or implementing BDR technology stacks including Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, and call analysis tools (e.g., Gong).

Desired Experience

  • 10+ years in BDR team leader roles in B2B SaaS/DaaS with proven track record in personal prospecting and pipeline generation.
  • 5+ years in individual contributor BDR roles in B2B SaaS/DaaS environments.
  • Demonstrated people management and team leadership skills with experience coaching and developing high-performing sales teams.
  • Financial services, banking, and/or asset management industry experience, with specific knowledge of non-financial risk data being a plus.
  • Proven expertise with AI tools, automation platforms, and sales engagement technology (e.g., Salesloft, Salesforce, Outreach, Clay, Zoominfo) including call intelligence solutions (e.g. Gong).
  • Ability to understand complex products and translate them into clear, compelling, and relevant client value propositions.
  • Experience designing and optimizing BDR processes, workflows, and go-to-market strategies for scalability and efficiency.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership, resilience, and accountability.
