Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create original graphic designs for apparel & accessories for both Represent & 247 brands, ensuring alignment with brand identity and current market trends.
- Utilize strong illustration skills to produce unique and creative designs, incorporating hand‑drawn elements, digital illustrations, and vector graphics.
- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and execute seasonal collections, ensuring all designs meet the brand's aesthetic and target audience.
- Prepare and present design concept decks and mock‑ups for internal review, making revisions based on feedback.
- Ensure all artwork is production‑ready, including proper formatting & sizing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and software advancements to continually improve design output and relevance.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Work closely with product developers and manufacturers to ensure design accuracy and quality in final production.
- Communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and sales, to align designs with overall brand strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Apparel Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing illustration work.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of colour theory, typography, and print production processes.
- Excellent creativity, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetic.
- Ability to adapt to changing design trends and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of garment construction and fabric types is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in apparel graphic design, with a focus on illustration.
- Experience in fashion retail at a parallel brand is preferred.
