WM Reply is seeking a Microsoft Modern Work, Automation & AI Technical Consultant to support the design and delivery of business-focused solutions across Microsoft 365, Power Platform and emerging AI capabilities. This role is suited to consultants who can work with clients to understand requirements, shape high-level solution designs, translate needs into clear user stories and support delivery teams through build, test and deployment. This hybrid-based role is located either in London or Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Gather business and functional requirements from clients and internal teams, defining clear problem statements, scope, and success measures.
- Conduct structured discovery, asking the right questions to align solutions with project objectives.
- Shape high-level solution designs across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned with client needs, technical standards, and governance requirements.
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear delivery documentation.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ongoing clarifications with delivery teams.
- Contribute to testing, validation, and handover activities across the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues, fostering collaboration and trust.
- Communicate solution options effectively and contribute to workshops, demos, and project discussions.
About the Candidate
- Relevant professional experience in consulting, business technology, or solution delivery; Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL-900, PL-100, PL-200, MS-900) are desirable.
- Experience working with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Exposure to Copilot, AI features, or automation use cases would be advantageous.
- Strong ability to capture business requirements, document processes, and translate needs into structured functional requirements and delivery artefacts.
- Experience contributing to high-level solution design, considering user experience, technical feasibility, security, and governance.
- Experience working in agile delivery teams, including writing user stories and acceptance criteria and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Curious and proactive mindset, with a strong focus on continuous learning and applying new technologies.
- High level of ownership and accountability, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
- Collaborative and client-focused approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams and deliver value through professional engagement.
