Role Overview

We are seeking a Manager to join our entrepreneurial, fast-growing Consulting practice focused on helping banks and financial institutions modernise Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Operations through technology and data-enabled transformation. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver with strong consulting skills and a growing expertise in data, technology, and product thinking. As a Manager, you will lead workstreams and client engagements, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that transformation strategies are successfully delivered and produce tangible results.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major workstreams in Financial Services transformation, focusing on Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Operations.
  • Structure complex client challenges and translate them into actionable delivery plans and technology/data workstreams.
  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead, managing stakeholders and delivery expectations.
  • Collaborate with Data, Engineering, and Product teams to deliver technology-enabled solutions.
  • Apply product and agile delivery principles such as user journeys, MVPs, and iterative prioritisation.
  • Ensure quality, momentum, and realisation of value in project delivery.
  • Develop new propositions and internal tools to support scalable delivery across key functions.
  • Support business development, build client and technology partner relationships, and contribute to thought leadership.

About the Candidate

  • 5–10 years’ Financial Services experience, ideally in consulting, internal transformation, or technology-enabled change roles.
  • Proven track record delivering transformation initiatives in Risk, Compliance, Finance, or Operations functions.
  • Strong structured problem-solving and clear, concise communication skills.
  • Experience working with data, technology, or product teams.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and adapts quickly.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and data/analytics, workflow automation, or AI solutions is desirable.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and strong data literacy; familiarity with agile and digital tooling is advantageous.
  • Curious, adaptable, collaborative, with an ownership mindset and growing leadership capabilities.
