To support our rapid growth and expanding client portfolio, we are seeking a Senior Consultant – Enterprise Architect Lead to join our Digital, Technology & Architecture business unit.

Role Overview

As a Senior Consultant, you will take a leading role in delivering enterprise architecture, strategy and transformation advisory services. You will lead engagements or workstreams, guide client decision‑making and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive meaningful and sustainable change. This role is perfect for ambitious architects who want to take on greater responsibility and build the capabilities needed for progression into management. This is a hybrid role either based in London or Manchester.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery across one or more medium‑sized client accounts, setting direction, driving business impact, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes across business, application, technology, and data domains.
  • Develop enterprise architecture artefacts including target architectures, roadmaps, capability models, technology assessments, cloud adoption designs, and governance frameworks.
  • Work autonomously or within engagement teams to deliver client outcomes and provide balanced EA insight linking technology decisions to strategic priorities.
  • Lead the development of enterprise architecture propositions and service offerings, translating strategy into frameworks, methods, and supporting collateral.
  • Contribute to the evolution of EA capability by identifying market trends, client demand patterns, and opportunities within financial services.
  • Collaborate with business, solution, and data architecture teams to ensure propositions are integrated, scalable, and commercially viable.
  • Lead and contribute to bids, sales opportunities, and partnership development, supporting strategic account growth and wider business development activities.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contribute to capability development, thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and recruitment.

About the Candidate

  • Significant experience leading enterprise architecture, strategy, and transformation advisory initiatives within a consultancy or financial services environment.
  • Strong EA consulting skills, with the ability to lead workstreams and deliver high-quality architecture outputs.
  • Balanced knowledge across enterprise architecture domains, including strategy, business architecture, cloud, platforms, integration, and modern technology environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant IT, Business, or related field, with recognised EA certification (e.g. TOGAF) and knowledge of frameworks such as BIAN, ArchiMate, and Zachman.
  • Experience with EA tooling (e.g. LeanIX, Ardoq, Orbus) and architecture modelling practices.
  • Confident communicator, able to translate complex architecture into clear, structured, and business‑friendly outputs.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously, manage client expectations, and deliver high‑impact outcomes.
  • Collaborative and self‑motivated, with consulting maturity, a passion for continuous learning, and understanding of proposition development, sales, and thought leadership.
