As a Graduate Azure Infrastructure engineer, you will join Solidsoft Reply’s Support & Operations team to maintain the stability, scalability, security, and resilience of systems on the Azure platform while delivering exceptional service to customers. Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you’ll manage escalations and proactively identify, investigate, and resolve issues across critical custom healthcare infrastructures leveraging leading-edge Microsoft Azure technologies. You will collaborate closely with global customers and internal development/support teams, communicating complex technical topics with clarity and professionalism. This role suits someone from a 2nd line/junior infrastructure background, confident with core Microsoft technologies and eager to gain broader exposure to infrastructure projects, cloud, and client-facing work in an MSP environment.
Responsibilities
- Member of the Support & Operations team delivering infrastructure support for Solidsoft Reply Healthcare Managed Services.
- Manage and maintain Azure infrastructure: patching/updates, certificate management, security hardening.
- Assist senior engineers with incident investigation, troubleshooting, and resolution.
- Operate core Azure services: virtual machines, networking components, and identity/access management.
- Adhere to ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.
- Produce and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation.
- Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers as needed.
- Participate in out-of-hours/on-call rotas with appropriate support and training.
About the candidate
- BSc degree (2:1 or above) in Computer Science or IT-based subject is required.
- Essential knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including experience with cloud environments.
- Initial understanding of Windows Server Infrastructure, Active Directory, and EntraID is desirable.
- Experience querying data sources, such as Microsoft Azure Application Insights, Cosmos DB, or SQL Server coupled with good grasp of network and data security principles.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Desirable experience with Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights), cloud security fundamentals, backup solutions, Linux basics, and virtualization (Hyper‑V or VMware).
- Understanding of ITIL concepts and/or willingness to attain Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900) certification.
