Reply Group is a leading global technology consulting business. With over 16,000 colleagues in 17 countries working across a decentralised network of over 200 specialist companies, our focus is on enabling our clients to maximise the value from new and innovative technologies such as Generative AI, Data and Cloud.

The UK HR team supports 1,700 employees and their leadership teams, across 39 specialist businesses in the UK. Currently a team of 12 in the UK, and part of a broader People team of 23, we are responsible for the full employee lifecycle, ensuring that the businesses in the region can attract, develop, and retain great talent, whilst providing a fantastic experience at every stage of the employee journey. The team is made up of an HR Operations function and a team of HR Business Partners, both of which play a crucial role in supporting the employees and leadership within the UK.

The UK business is set to double in size over the next 2 years through organic growth and acquisition, and we are looking for a junior Business Partner or an experienced HR Advisor / HR Generalist who is ready to make the transition into a Business Partnering role to support this growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Consulting: Understand the commercial needs of the companies that you support, diagnose issues, and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations cases independently, providing employment law or policy advice where required.
  • Data Analysis: Review key metrics such as engagement surveys, exit interviews, absence data, attrition rates etc. to identify areas for improvement and measure the impact of initiatives.
  • Coaching and Advising: Coach and advise line managers on HR policies and best practices and provide training inputs to develop people management skills and improve confidence with HR issues.
  • Workforce Planning and Change Management: Support workforce planning, succession planning, restructures, and change management projects.
  • Employee Experience: Enhance the overall employee experience and lifecycle, including supporting the UK benefits strategy and driving employee engagement initiatives.
  • HR Policy Development: Contribute to HR policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Learning and Development: Develop training programs, policies, templates, and manager toolkits.
  • Project Support/Management: Support projects like apprenticeships programme, graduate onboarding, skills gap analysis, and changes to HR tools and technologies to integrate AI and increase recognition.
  • HR Admin and Recruitment Facilitation: Where necessary, act as a conduit between the companies and the HR Operations and Recruitment Functions to ensure effective, efficient operational processes.

It’s important to note that the HR team in Reply, while working in a Business Partnering model, adopt a hands-on approach. This means you will support improvements across HR, including operational tasks, and contribute to some operational processes. If you prefer not to get involved in HR operations, this role may not be the right fit for you. This role will be based in our London Victoria Office. We work a hybrid model, with each of us spending 10 days a month in the office.

Experience We Are Looking For:

  • Several years’ experience as an HR generalist in a commercial setting.
  • Ideally experience in a Consultancy or other complex matrix environment, although this is strictly a nice to have.
  • CIPD Level 7 or working towards.
  • Employee Relations Experience – the ability to lead the whole range of ER cases from Parental leave to Probation, Exit Interviews, Absence & Performance Management, Grievance & Disciplinary to Redundancy / Restructuring and TUPE.
  • Employment Law and Policy advisory.
  • Senior Stakeholder Management – experience supporting a range of stakeholders with diverse needs and ways of working.
  • Experience in developing training, policies, templates, and manager toolkits.
  • Attention to detail and organisation.
  • All the usual business tools, but especially a high level of knowledge of Excel and data literacy.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
  • Ideally evidence of having used Gen AI tools to improve your effectiveness.

If you are an HR Advisor or Generalist and would like to take your first step into Business Partnering or are a junior Business Partner and feel this is a good fit, we’d love to talk to you.
