Role Overview: The broad purpose of the Digital and Technology Solution Professional (DTSP) is to evaluate, initiate, create and support business solutions using digital technology. DTSPs use data to evaluate the commercial and security risks and benefits of potential digital and technology solutions before making recommendations for strategies that may have far-reaching consequences. DTSPs are influencers in their organisations with a clear focus on delivering business improvements through digital and technological solutions. They have a passion for digital technology; keeping in touch with emerging trends and developments. At Go Reply, you will step into a versatile role that bridges the gap between high-level business strategy and cutting-edge cloud innovation. You will be instrumental in supporting our clients to stay at the forefront of technology by optimising their digital strategies and solving complex business challenges. You will work alongside a diverse team of specialists across data science, security, and platform engineering to build highly resilient and scalable solutions based on Google Cloud Platform. From day one, you will be immersed in a vibrant work environment where you’ll help integrate Cloud and AI technologies into some of the world’s largest organisations across sectors as varied as retail, telecommunications, government, and sport. This Digital and Technology Solutions Professional - Software Engineer BSc degree apprenticeship will be delivered in partnership with Queen Mary University London (36 months' programme).
Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer degree apprentice, you'll learn how to be accountable for the undertaking and completion of the analysis of software engineering business issues for either the entire requirement or subset thereof dependent on complexity and/or scope size. You'll be instrumental in implementing Google Cloud's software solutions, or part thereof, dependent on complexity, scope size and technology into the environment required (including systems test, user test environment, or live environment as appropriate). You'll be directly involved in the creation of an overarching software solution design suitable to resolving our clients' business issues for either the entire requirement or a subset thereof dependent on complexity and/or scope size. You'll assist in building Cloud solutions, or part thereof, dependent on complexity, scope size, and technology. As you grow in your role on our team, you may also be required to supervise the work of more junior team members undertaking work in the software solution life-cycle. As a Software Engineer, you'll test that the software solution, or part thereof, dependent on complexity, scope size and technology meets the business needs identifying any remedial actions required. You will work closely with all key stakeholders to ensure the software solution or part thereof, dependent on complexity and scope size, is understood and correctly used. As a Software Engineer degree apprentice, you'll learn how to apply engineering principles to all stages of the software development process, from requirements, analysis and design, development and data requirements. You will typically work as part of a large collaborative team and will have responsibility for significant elements of software solutions.
About the Candidate: You are currently pursuing/have completed your A-Levels and are expecting/have received at least an overall ABB grade or higher. One of your A-Levels is Computing or Mathematics (mandatory). You are willing to learn and expand your knowledge of multiple programming languages, such as Core Java, Python, Java Script etc. You possess an AI-first mindset, driven by a strong passion for exploring how AI can be effectively utilised. A passion for technology and a strong interest in becoming a cloud specialist. Initial experience with coding in any programming language(s). You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and can demonstrate keen interest for client-facing work in the area of technical consulting.
