Role Overview:
This role is a AI Project Manager position focused on driving AI adoption and managing end‑to‑end technical delivery. You will own project plans, backlogs and resources while coordinating multidisciplinary teams through discovery, development, testing, release and handover. Alongside core delivery management, you will lead stakeholder engagement, communications, training and change activities to ensure AI solutions are successfully adopted and deliver measurable business benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI and technology projects, managing plans, milestones, risks and status reporting.
- Own and maintain backlogs, user stories, tasks and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tools.
- Coordinate sprint planning, resource allocation and capacity management across multidisciplinary technical and business teams.
- Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders through discovery, development, testing, release and operational handover.
- Support AI adoption activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training coordination and collection of user feedback.
- Track delivery, adoption and benefits against agreed success measures, highlighting issues with scope, budget or timelines as needed.
- Ensure clear ownership of actions and maintain high-quality project documentation and governance artefacts.
- Contribute to change management efforts, helping embed new AI-enabled ways of working into everyday business processes.
About The Candidate:
- Experienced project manager with a track record delivering technology or digital transformation projects, ideally including AI or automation initiatives.
- Confident working with engineers and technical leads, with strong familiarity with the software delivery lifecycle and Agile ways of working.
- Hands-on user of Azure DevOps, Jira or similar tools for ticket creation, backlog management, delivery tracking and acceptance criteria definition.
- Strong organiser able to manage multiple workstreams, plan resources and capacity, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Clear and credible communicator who can influence both business stakeholders and technical specialists and manage client-facing relationships.
- Skilled in change management, stakeholder engagement and supporting user adoption through training, communications and feedback loops.
- Comfortable tracking budgets, benefits and adoption metrics, with the discipline to escalate risks and issues appropriately.
- Motivated to deepen expertise in AI and generative AI use cases and apply this knowledge to real-world business problems.
