Responsibilities
- Lead the design of enterprise Azure solutions, aligning with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework principles.
- Define architecture for landing zones, platform infrastructure, identity, networking, security, governance, and operating models.
- Produce and own high-level and low-level designs, and lead architecture reviews and technical decision-making.
- Guide the implementation of enterprise landing zones, hybrid connectivity, and identity/access models using Microsoft Entra ID.
- Establish Infrastructure as Code standards (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) and support DevOps and platform engineering practices.
- Design and oversee modern Azure data solutions, including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Data Lake, and integration architectures.
- Lead AI-enabled solution architecture, covering Azure OpenAI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, copilots, intelligent apps, and responsible AI practices.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and architecture workshops, acting as the primary technical authority while mentoring delivery teams.
- Support pre‐sales activities, shape technical solutions, contribute to proposals, and help develop reusable patterns and accelerators.
Qualifications
- Holds a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 6‐10+ years of experience delivering Microsoft Azure solutions.
- AZ‐305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) and AZ‐104 (Azure Administrator) certifications required; Fabric, Databricks, or AI‐related certifications beneficial.
- Strong architecture expertise in Azure networking, hybrid connectivity, Entra ID security, landing zones, and governance.
- Skilled in Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices within Azure environments.
- Proven track record in client‐facing consulting roles, leading technical workstreams or serving as an architect on complex projects.
- Hands‐on experience designing or delivering solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, or Azure OpenAI/AI‐enabled applications.
- Solid understanding of modern data architectures and AI integration patterns, with breadth across Cloud, Data, and AI.
