Role Overview:

The Applied Accounting Degree Apprenticeship is for those who manage and implement accounting and finance systems supporting decision-making aligned with organizational strategy. The program emphasizes problem-based and inquiry-led learning to develop relevant skills and behaviors.

As a degree apprentice in Reply\’s internal management reporting team, you will report directly to the Head of Management Reporting, managing complexities within a fast-growing organization. Your internal clients will be the managing directors of Reply\’s subsidiary companies. The program is flexible, suitable for newcomers to accounting or those seeking to upskill. You will earn a Bachelor\’s degree and industry-recognized professional qualifications. The three-year BSc in Accounting & Finance Management will be based at our London office, delivered via online learning in partnership with the University of Exeter. The start date is September 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and conducting monthly meetings with stakeholders to review financial performance.
• Enhance business profitability by monitoring and controlling company performance.
• Learn forecasting and budgeting for key KPIs in management reporting across Reply\’s UK subsidiaries.
• Assist in drafting quarterly reporting packages.
• Help with reconciliations with Statutory Financial Statements.

Candidate Requirements:

• Completed A-Levels with BBB (preferably Mathematics and Economics) or BTEC (DDM) equivalent, or a Level 3/4 apprenticeship in Accounting/Finance aiming to top up to a degree. Alternatively, at least two years’ relevant work experience in accountancy or finance (e.g., finance assistant, controller).
• Applicants still completing their A-Levels/BTEC this year cannot be considered due to course deadlines.
• Under 19, must hold Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics per the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
• Strong interest in Finance, Controlling, and Auditing processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Initial accounting exposure is preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; SAP knowledge is a plus.
