Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering a range of hair services, including cutting, colouring, and styling, while ensuring that each client leaves feeling confident and satisfied. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
- Perform hair cutting, colouring, and styling services according to client preferences and current trends.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the salon environment.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalised recommendations.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and boost salon revenue.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Mentor junior stylists by sharing techniques and best practices to foster their professional growth.
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of barbering techniques for male grooming services is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.
- Ability to mentor others, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Upselling skills to promote products and additional services effectively.
