Key Responsibilities Own and prioritise the product backlog, keeping it visible and aligned with business goals. Turn stakeholder needs into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria. Run backlog refinement and sprint planning, keeping priorities current. Work as an embedded partner to engineering teams, giving them the clarity to deliver. Balance new features against performance, security, and long-term maintainability. Identify practical ways to use AI within the platform. Report progress, risks and trade-offs to stakeholders using delivery data. What We are Looking For Proven experience as a Product Owner, or owning a backlog, in an Agile software environment. Strong skills in writing user stories and acceptance criteria. Experience collaborating closely with engineers to prioritise and clarify work. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences. A solid understanding of how software is built and how technical decisions affect the product. Experience with enterprise, workflow, or configurable software platforms. Exposure to AI-enabled features or AI tools in your day-to-day work. Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. Experience in insurance, financial services or another regulated industry would be an advantage.
