Painter and Decorator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and a strong attention to detail. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential for transporting materials and equipment to various job sites.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Select and mix colours to achieve desired effects and ensure consistency across projects.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard while adhering to safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on site as necessary to ensure project completion.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction painting and decorating.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to drive and possess a valid driving licence for transportation of materials.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
