About us REP-TEC are a growing manufacturing company based in Dungannon, N. Ireland. We manufacture and supply high-quality equipment for the waste management sector including fully automatic balers, conveyor systems and also design and build customised hydraulic systems. We have a clear vision for the next 5 years and want an ambitious Engineering Manager to join the team.

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering department for our expanding product range. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the engineering department and ensuring that all products are designed, developed, and manufactured to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, aftersales and quality assurance to ensure that products meet customer requirements and are manufacturable at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering department and ensure that all products are designed, developed, and manufactured to the highest quality standards.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and are manufacturable at scale.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure that the department meets its goals and objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure that product designs align with market needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering management experience.
  • Experience with project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to mentor and develop a team of engineers.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
