Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on analytics specialist with a proven track record in implementing and troubleshooting GA4, GTM and Consent Mode. You will be the in-house expert on Google's analytics stack: GA4, GTM and BigQuery, leading client delivery across implementation, reporting, troubleshooting, and training. While your core expertise must lie in the Google stack, experience with other enterprise analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare, or FullStory is highly desirable. You will work with a range of digital tools and help clients navigate complex data challenges across multiple technologies. You must have at least two years of agency-side experience in an analytics role, with regular exposure to clients. You are not an account manager; you are a practitioner who understands data in depth and can communicate clearly and simply to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- You will work closely with major brands to implement, maintain and troubleshoot data and analytics solutions across their digital platforms.
- You will act as the technical lead, ensuring reliable delivery through practical problem solving and deep technical expertise.
You Must HAVE
- Strong GA4 and GTM implementation experience
- Confidence with tagging and measurement design
- Ability to troubleshoot tracking and data discrepancies
- Understanding of event structures and how data flows from end to end
- Understanding of current Consent requirements and best practice
- Experience with deploying and configuring CMP tools such as OneTrust or CookieBot
- Experience with configuring GTM to respect consent
- Experience with Google Consent Mode
- Ability to extract clear insights from data
- Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams
- Curiosity and the ability to learn quickly while working on live projects
Desirable
- More advanced SQL or data analysis experience (Bigquery, Mixpanel etc)
- Experience with Contentsquare or other DX tools
- Broader experience across analytics strategy
- Experience aligning GA4 data with other platforms or internal first party data
