An established organisation is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to lead technical projects and support core IT infrastructure across a growing business. This role combines project delivery, hands-on engineering, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver end-to-end infrastructure projects, from design through to implementation
- Maintain and optimise cloud and on-premise systems
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers
- Support security and compliance initiatives
- Produce clear technical documentation
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practice
- Identify and implement continuous improvements
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with VMware, Azure, and Microsoft environments (M365, Windows Server, Azure AD)
- Solid networking knowledge (routing, switching, firewalls)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
