Youll be the first point of contact for users across the business, troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of hardware, software, and network issues, escalating where necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to internal users (on-site and remote)
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices)
- Set up new users, manage accounts, and maintain Active Directory
- Monitor and manage helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation
- Document support issues and solutions for knowledge base purposes
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a 1st or 2nd line IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Active Directory, networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP), and remote support tools
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence (due to potential travel between local sites)
