The Role: What You'll Be Doing

We’re looking for a super-engaging, self-motivated individual to join our team. Your primary mission will be talking to private Landlords, introducing them to the Rentr platform, and getting them registered and active on the app. Forget rigid scripts and cold calls that go nowhere. This role is about genuine human connection and sharing the massive value Rentr offers.

• Love a Good Natter? You’ll be having engaging, conversational calls with everyday Landlords, building rapport, and understanding their current pain points.
• Tech-Savvy & Fast Learner: Quickly grasp how our platform works and confidently explain its features and benefits in simple, compelling terms.
• Self-Starter: You’ll be autonomous. You’re the kind of person who sees a task and just gets stuff done without constant oversight.
• Flexible Working: We understand life happens! Our Landlords often work 9-5, so being available for calls in the evenings or on weekends is a huge bonus. You can work around your kids, your existing commitments, or just when you feel most productive.

We don’t care about your CV experience. We care about your ability to talk, connect, and convert. If you can communicate clearly, engage people instantly, and have a passion for a great product, you’ve got what it takes.

• Tech Enthusiast: A genuine interest in the tech space and an ability to quickly learn a new platform.
• Drive & Motivation: You are fiercely self-motivated and thrive when given the freedom to manage your own time and hit targets.

Our Unique Interview Process

Ready to show us what you’re made of? This process is designed to let your personality shine:

• The Sparkle Video (3 Minutes): Send us a short video of yourself (no longer than 3 minutes) talking about what makes you sparkle and shine and what you are super passionate about. Show us your energy and communication style!
• The Detective Call: A brief phone call with one of the Rentr team. Your task: find out three interesting facts about the person on the phone without directly asking for them, all while subtly promoting the Rentr product during the conversation.
• Team Video Chat: A video call with the wider Rentr team. This is your chance to get a deep dive into the platform, the role's specifics, and ask all the questions you have.

The Role specifics

This is a remote role, but if you’re based in Sussex or near Leamington Spa, you will have the opportunity to co-work with our other superstars. We do meet up 1 to 2 times a month in Leamington Spa for strategy and roadmap meetings, so a willingness to travel there would be beneficial. We’ll start you off on a temporary contract to make sure you’re right for the role and we’re the right fit for you. If you prove yourself, employment could be in your future. Please note this means you’ll be self-employed and responsible for your own taxes and national insurance contributions. Hourly rate of between £15-£20 per hour. Commission is available too.
