The Role

As a Procurement Officer, you will analyse spending data to identify cost savings and efficiencies across the Rentokil Initial businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring key suppliers are managed under contracts.
  • Supporting with supplier management on key suppliers.
  • Running tenders and informal market pricing benchmarking.
  • Managing internal processes related to data gathering.
  • Building and maintaining strong relations with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Provide support when required on the management of the waste category.
  • Ensuring supplier management information is sent within contracted timeframes.
  • Managing internal trackers.
  • Sourcing a range of diverse and sustainable products and services.
  • Conducting ongoing supplier spending analysis.
  • Working with legal colleagues to negotiate draft contracts on service-level agreements.
  • Tracking and reporting on critical supplier contract performances.
  • Travel to suppliers.

Requirements:

  • One year minimum experience in a previous procurement role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong IT skills in particular Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Confident in handling difficult conversations.
  • Strong people skills with the ability to negotiate and build rapport with people at all levels.
  • Excellent team player.
  • You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
  • Full driving licence.
