Your role as an Asbestos Operative will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their asbestos issues. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing asbestos removal, encapsulation, and environmental cleaning within the Utilities Sector.
- Adhering strictly to the issued Plans of Work, current UK legislation, comprehensive specifications, and the DCUK FM Ltd Standard Operating Procedures and Health and Safety guidelines.
- Following directives from the Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
- Ensuring proper usage, maintenance, and care of all provided Personal Protective Equipment, Respiratory Protective Equipment, and Asbestos Removal plant and equipment, immediately reporting any malfunctions or defects.
- Having 1+ years experience removing asbestos is advantageous.
- Possessing a full UK Manual Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
- Having Asbestos Awareness Training is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrating a can-do attitude and the ability to use your own initiative.
- Exhibiting great communication and customer service skills with a keen, enthusiastic, and friendly approach.
- Being prepared to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
