We are recruiting an experienced Employment Lawyer for a full time, permanent, role. This is a great opportunity to join a fast‑paced, commercial business. The successful candidate will have previous employment law experience from a top private practice firm or equivalent in-house FTSE 100 business. Demonstrated knowledge of complex English employment law is a must, including employee relations procedures, recruitment, terminations, employment law aspects of business transactions, compensation and regulatory matters.
The purpose of this role is to support internal functions and the business with strategic employment law advice, working on all contentious and non-contentious matters. As a senior employment lawyer, you will manage employment disputes and litigation, advise on company policies, input and advise on day to day HR / employment issues and ensure associated training is delivered.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing employment law advice across the UK and Ireland region.
- Supporting on employee relations issues, restructures, disciplinary and grievance matters and business protection / anti-competitive issues.
- Advising on, developing and refining employment contracts and HR / data protection policies.
