Contract: Full Time 42.5 hours per week, Permanent

Salary: Basic salary £31,025 per annum

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

The role will involve carrying out grounds maintenance activities on a static site. Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

  • General Grounds Maintenance
  • Grass Cutting and Strimming
  • Shrub pruning
  • Hedge cutting
  • Weed Maintenance
  • Herbicide Application (if certificated)
  • Litter picking
  • Using a range of powered and non-powered horticultural equipment
  • Assisting with soft landscaping projects
  • Driving company vehicle
  • Other duties required by Management within the job holder’s competence

Role holders are also required to:

  • Act professionally as a representative of the organisation
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
  • Ensure client satisfaction
  • Initiate suggestions to improve organisational performance
  • Complete timesheets and other paperwork promptly

Qualifications & Experience

  • Full UK driver’s licence
  • Garden maintenance experience is essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Plant knowledge is advantageous
  • Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but not essential
