Overview

Rentokil Specialist Hygiene Technician – Bristol branch, covering Plymouth, Exeter and surrounding areas.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided.

This role is suitable for those who enjoy managing their own schedule and solving customer problems in person.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of hygiene cleaning services across various environments and premises, including biohazard cleaning, flood water damage clean up, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removals, trauma and crime scene cleaning, as well as more technical cleaning such as factory cleans, high level cleaning, and silo cleaning (with full training).
  • Work reactively in a fast-paced business where work can change from week to week.
  • Operate as part of an on-call rota (typical twice a quarter).
  • Offer valuable advice to customers when required and provide exceptional customer service with a professional image at all times.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
  • Self-motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
  • Be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Be prepared to undergo a DBS check depending on the role applied for.

  • Salary: basic £26,655 per annum with expected OTE £30,000-£38,000 per annum, plus bonus and commission schemes.
