The Bill to Cash Project Support is a diverse role, where you will provide technical and project management support for the various projects in the Bill to Cash area. Your focus will be on ensuring that our Credit Control and Cash Allocation systems continue to work during acquisitions, migrations, and new functionality deployments. You will also offer support by providing evidence during audits.
Project Support: Helping the business grow by setting up our finance software for new company acquisitions and support launching new features like customer portals, online payment features or AI solutions.
Tech Backup: Stepping in to fix software glitches and helping users when our main support analyst is away.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the Customer Success Specialist to implement standardised processes worldwide.
- Acquisitions & Migrations: Support with implementations of new acquisitions and company mergers. You make sure that data flows correctly and systems align.
- Feature Rollouts: Support with the deployment of new functionalities such as Customer Portals, Dispute Interfaces, Interest & Costs modules, Online Payment features, and AI integrations.
- System Testing: Testing new software updates to make sure they work perfectly before our local users start using them.
- Knowledge Management: Creating easy-to-follow training videos and manuals so everyone knows how to use our systems.
- Act as the primary backup for the Application Support Analyst to ensure systems continue to work.
- Resolve functional and technical incidents related to our Credit Control and Cash Allocation systems.
- Work with software suppliers and internal application owners to fix issues and report bugs.
- Review software usage to identify gaps and standardise processes across regions.
- Document User Audit requests for both internal and external auditors.
- Create and remove user access according to our IT General Controls (ITGC).
- Checking that data moves correctly between different systems without getting lost or broken.
Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
- Financial Knowledge: You understand how credit management and cash allocation work.
- Technical Affinity: You’re comfortable looking at large spreadsheets to figure out what the numbers are telling you.
- Project Experience: You’ve worked in project teams before and aren't afraid of a deadline.
- Communication: You can explain technical things clearly to people who aren't “techies”.
- Personal skills: High integrity, empathetic, and capable of working under pressure.
Desirable Criteria:
- Technical Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, OnGuard, ServiceNow, or SQL.
- Data Skillsets: Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and familiarity with Big Data or Google AI platforms.
