We are currently seeking a Junior Management Accountant to join our dedicated team on a fixed‑term basis to cover maternity leave, working 5 days per month at either our Dudley or Camberley offices.

The Role

As a Junior Management Accountant, you will support the finance team with various financial reports and planning, ensuring that accounts and the finance function are following all statutory requirements and processes. This role involves analysing information and assisting the business in understanding it for various business requirements, and is suited to a new qualified accountant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting for our portfolio of properties.
  • Completing month‑end reconciliations for key balance‑sheet accounts (including rent, rates, utilities and mobile phone costs).
  • Ensuring accurate journal completion.
  • Ensuring delivery of all key reports.
  • Assisting with the annual budgeting process.
  • Providing support to Management Accountants to help the business understand its performance.
  • Other ad‑hoc assignments as they arise.

Qualifications

  • AAT‑qualified or part‑qualified ACCA/CIMA advantageous.
  • Previous accountancy experience.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role applied for.
