The Sales and Management Graduate Role
You will start your career with us as an Indoor Sales Support Consultant, where you will be responsible for generating sales opportunities for our field sales colleagues via inbound and outbound calls. In addition to doing this role day to day, the graduate scheme will follow the below format:
- Weeks 1-6: Initial Training - You will attend our World Class Sales Academy while also shadowing operational and sales staff. Here, you will be servicing our customers in a specific geographical area, supporting in servicing various washroom products, alongside removing hazardous and toxic waste. Your training will be encompassing and you will see all areas of the business.
- Weeks 6-52 - In addition to your role as an Indoor Sales Consultant, you will gain exposure to as many sales-based roles across the business to provide you with a broad understanding of our customers and their needs. This will also equip you with the knowledge to become an expert in our products and services. During this time, you will also have the opportunity to complete our Intro to Sales Development Programme.
- 12+ months - Now that you’ve gained a broad understanding of the business, you will decide which area you want to specialise in. You will play a part in any local projects during this time and also complete the Leadership Development Programme. During this time you will also have the chance to progress to roles such as:
- Field Account Manager – you will be responsible for sales in a certain patch area
- Service Team Leader – manage a team of field service colleagues
- Indoor Sales/Customer Relations Team Leader – leading a team of indoor sales colleagues
- Regional Account Manager – supporting our Key Account Customers
Requirements
- A minimum 2.2 degree in BSc/BA in any subject (Business related, transport, logistics, supply chain or management disciplines preferred but not necessary).
- A full UK driving licence or be working towards this.
- Target-driven, ambitious and self-motivated.
- Comfortable working out in the field dealing with customers face-to-face.
- Want to work with people and provide excellent customer service.
- A desire to work hard and have fun.
