We are currently seeking a Laundry Operative to join our dedicated team at the Birmingham branch. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. Laundry Operative Role
As a Laundry Operative, you will cover a wide variety of tasks within the processing area of the branch to support colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the daily running of the processing unit which will include PowerTrans machines, RugtVedt rolling machines and dryers.
- Ensuring hourly production targets are met.
- Complying with all health and safety legislation.
- Ensuring that dust mats which are processed meet the company standards.
- Frequently maintaining the operating equipment.
- Reporting equipment with defects to the appropriate team member.
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping within your area of work.
Laundry Operative Requirements
- Factory or logistics experience would be preferred.
- An FLT licence would be an advantage but training will be provided.
- Good team player.
- Ability to work to targets.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic understanding of health and safety.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
