Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Licensed Projects Contracts Team
- Manage the Labour Coordinator and Contracts Assistant support team
- Submit ASB5 Notifications
- Provide quotations for work packages
- Prepare Plans of Work, including risk assessments
- Plan and resource projects – prepare project programmes
- Resolve project‑level operational and commercial challenges and change
- Manage competency of asbestos workforce
- Maintain and manage sites, including subcontractors & suppliers, ensuring procedures are adhered to
- Manage asbestos surveyors and analysts as required
- Ensure health, safety, wellbeing and environmental documents are compliant and up to date
- Undertake senior manager site inspections, ensuring audits and reports are produced, non‑conformances resolved
- Maintain asbestos and general management training
- Participate in senior manager engagement & safety meetings
- Liaise with relevant industry trade bodies and disseminate information
- Provide regular feedback and communicate issues at the appropriate reporting level
- Maintain continual professional development
Requirements
- People management experience
- Experience in pricing and managing asbestos works
- Client account management experience
- Asbestos industry experience
- Driving licence
- Motivated and resilient individual
- Be able to pass DBS check if required
- Valid ARCA / ACAD Asbestos Manager qualification
- Level 4 Diploma in licensed contract management (desirable)
