We are currently seeking a disciplined, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Labour Co-ordinator to join our Projects Contract Management team at the Welwyn Garden City Branch.

The Role
In this role, you will manage day-to-day Labour Allocations, arrange accommodation and travel, within a busy setting. You will need to be able to flex to these demands whilst communicating regularly with the Contracts manager teams. Your communication skills are at the forefront of this role as you will be talking every day to a number of site technicians all around the country with different qualifications and skill sets to ensure the correct choice of staff are placed in the correct projects with assistance from the Contract managers on our sites all over the UK.
- Support the Contract Management team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain and update the daily labour register.
- Prepare and distribute weekly labour allocations to supervisors and operatives.
- Book accommodation and confirm arrangements with site supervisors and CMs.
- Attend post-labour meetings to resolve resourcing issues.
- Assist with onboarding new recruits alongside HR.
- Support wage administration with weekly timesheet queries.
- Monitor field labour schedules for unsafe or excessive overtime.
- Track site staff KPIs to ensure compliance.
- Represent DCUK professionally at all times.
Requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
- Experience handling multiple priorities with accuracy.
- Confidence liaising with staff at all levels.
- Full UK manual driving licence (preferred, not essential).
- Ability to commute to our Welwyn Garden City office (AL7 1JQ).
